Message from the Superintendent December 7, 2017

Message from the Superintendent

December is here, Christmas is upon us and the winter has officially come to Tidehaven ISD.  The artic cold front coming down from the Texas panhandle made its appearance bringing cold, wet, and rainy weather.  This weather is perfect for everyone who has been waiting to build a fire in the fireplace or fire pit in the backyard.

The Tidehaven Tiger football team finished the year with a tough, hard-fought loss to a strong and talented Lexington football team.  Our record for the year stands at 12-1.  We wish Lexington all the best and hope they win the state championship.  I would love to be able to say “the only loss Tidehaven had this year was to the state championship team.”

Christmas band and choir concerts are a special time to celebrate the holidays.  This will mark the new introduction of the high school and junior high choir programs. The students have worked very hard and are eager to share their love of music with everyone.

Christmas break will begin with our last day of December 15th, 2017.

We want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.  Please be safe over the holidays and if you are traveling, please remember to wear your seatbelts.  Enjoy the time with family and friends.

Merry Christmas to all,

For the kids,

Andrew Seigrist
